Spring is Here??

"Curious and Curiouser" 9" x 12" Mixed Media on Watercolor Paper

WOW! I missed posting the entire month of April! Shame on me.

Also, shame on Mother Nature for the shoddy spring we are having!

Here in New Hampshire and most of New England we have had a slow start to spring and now that it's officially here (flowers, green grass, leaves on trees) it's still super COLD! In two weeks we have had one sunny day...ONE! Enough! I need to see the sun, having fibromyalgia and having cold, dreary, gloomy weather saps my energy. Bah! Humbug!

Ok, enough grumbling about the weather! Let's get to the fun stuff, ART!

I haven't been able to create as many new pieces as I would like to lately, but I'm hoping to get back in gear and to be able to spend more time in the studio.

"Roan" 8" x 10" Acrylic on Canvas

I applied and was accepted to exhibit in the Keene Art Walk! Woohoo! You will be able to see some of my work starting on June 3rd and it will be shown until June 12th on the corner of West and Main St at Willow Tree Boutique, 21 West St. I will be available on the 3rd outside of the store for a couple of hours to discuss my work and I will also be outside on the 10th (weather permitting) to paint for public viewing (Plein air). Please stop by and say "hello" if you are in the area and check out all the amazing artwork that will be displayed on Main St.

"Divine Swine" and "Highlander" both are 9" x 12" Mixed Media on Watercolor Paper

I will be displaying artwork at some upcoming horse shows at the Cheshire Fairgrounds this summer and will again be at the Art in the Park, Labor Day weekend at Ashuelot Park in Keene, NH.

I hope you will stop in and see me at one of the upcoming events and I will post more details as the dates get closer. Facebook is probably the best way to get more information and Instagram is the best and fastest way to see the new art as I create it.

Thanks for stopping by to see what's up and if you have any questions, comments or just want to say "hello" please do so in the comments section below.

"Reflections of Home I & II" both are 6" x 6" Acrylic on Canvas
