Summer is in full swing
I hope everyone is enjoying this summer weather and managing to stay cool when it has been above 90 degrees! I'm more of an autumn gal but I am happy to be out and about doing all kinds of art related events. The photo above is at the annual Keene Art Walk 2018. I have my display in the window behind me as I work on a fawn. I still haven't finished or named this piece yet, but I hope to complete it before the month is over.
(Display at the Keene Art Walk in the Edwards Jones Investments building)
Here I am with "The Boss". This is the largest piece I have painted to date. I've purchased some larger canvas so I hope to create some even larger pieces this year.
("The Five" a little 8x8" acrylic on canvas )
Here are some of my works on display at the Ash Hill Center for the Arts in Swanzey, NH. They will be up until the end of the month as well as others from the Saxton's River Art Guild. Hours are Wednesdays and Fridays 5:00pm-7:00pm and Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm
Here is my setup at the Arts on the Green given by the Center for the Arts NH, in New London, NH. This was a fun event and I met many nice people, the day was beautiful and even though it was windy we manged to keep everything where it belonged and nothing was damaged!
In August I will be having two local displays, one at Kristen's Bakery and the other at Mascoma Savings Bank, both in Keene, NH. I will also be participating in the Greeley Park Art Show in Nashua on the 18th and 19th.
Here is a little watercolor sketch I was working on when my bird Skittles decided to "eat" the leaves. He keeps things interesting that's for sure!
I have more events coming in September so be sure to follow me on facebook for more updates as events come closer and I'll try to post again in August to alert you to the September shows.
Have a wonderful summer everyone!
